Læsø Sydesalt is made in open pans, fired with the island’s own firewood. Læsø Saltsyderi only makes unrefined sea salt, just like in the old days. Læsø salt is first dried in woven wicker baskets and then in the attic above the store, after which it is carefully poured into beautiful grinders that make it easy to add Læsø salt to food.
