Læsø Sydesalt is made in open iron pans, fired by the island's own firewood. Læsø Saltsyderi only makes unrefined sea salt, as they did in the old days. Læsø salt is dried first in wicker baskets and then in the attic above the shop.
Suitable for salads and stews, but can easily be used as an all-round spice.
